Johannes Couchet

Joseph Joannes Couchet was a Flemish harpsichord-maker, son of Joannes Couchet (1615—1655). He joined Antwerp's Guild of St Luke (a city guild for painters and other artists) in 1666/67. There are only 4-5 single/double-manual harpsichords by Couchet still existing, produced between 1671 and 1781.
