Настоящее имя: Dwight Latham
Об исполнителе:
Singer/comedian/songwriter in the group The Jesters, popular in the late 1930's and 40's. Born May 24, 1903 in New Britain, Connecticut Died August 25, 1987 in Laguna Hills, California, USA. He was the co-writer (with Moe Jaffe) of the song "I'm My Old Grandpa" (aka "I'm My Own Grandpaw"). It's a novelty song about a man who, through an unlikely (but legal) combination of marriages, becomes stepfather to his own stepmother—and by dropping the "step-" modifiers, he becomes his own grandfather. The song charted twice in the U.S., first by Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians in 1948--it landed at #10. That same year it landed at #22 on the country charts by Lonzo & Oscar.
