Trumpeter / composer from France. Awen Robbe (born April 29, 2008) is a trumpeter, songwriter in various styles and also, a soldier of the cultural preservation of traditional Breton music and the musical culture of America (around Jazz). From an early age, he was immersed in the world of music and began playing the trumpet at the age of 7. It was a little later that the traditional Breton music duo born Robbe Tad Ha Mab (Robbe father and son), a duo that won several competitions and prizes. It was then that he began to perform on stage, playing his first professional concerts at the age of 12. Finding real pleasure in composing a variety of music from different horizons, Awen produce and release in 2021 his first digital Jazz-Hop album 22483385 (at the age of 13), and collaborates with artists from all over the world (like Annawak or El Kallpa). In 2022, he meet Kirk Joseph, a world-renowned sub-assophonist, with whom he play at the "Jazz en Ville" festival in Vannes (France), accompanied by an ephemeral brass band. From here, he forges a strong bond with the jazz culture, by playing and performing with bands as he does with the UAC Brass Band and also by collaborating and forging links with big names such as like Glen Andrews or Craig Klein. "I feel this music inside me, as if I belong to this vast family and to the people who defend this culture, I am in fact now, I also contribute to it. It's a unique bond that unites us all around it, it's like a family at last." His music doesn't just accompany his life; it seamlessly intertwines with it, shaping a harmonious narrative that resonates through time and space.
