Valle Erling

Swedish doctor, singer, guitarist and songwriter and producer from Gothenburg, born March 25, 1963 in Gothenburg. He grew up in a Swedish clergy family in Ethiopia but today lives in Gothenburg. He is a specialist doctor in internal medicine, and in 2015 was awarded the Swedish Medical Association's ethics prize, the Hippocrates Prize, for having been the driving force behind a new system for rounding up the clinic where he works. In the 1980s and 90s, Valle Erling was a member of the band Ideell Rebell, which played in the Gothenburg area and raised money for Luther Aid. In recent years has mainly played with the group Valdemar. He runs the record company Zebra Art Records.
