Andrés Cea

He born in Jerez de la Frontera (Spain) in 1965. After completing his estudies with J. E. Ayarra at the Seville Conservatory of Music, he attendet Jean Boyer's organ seminars in Lille, France and also estudied under Jean-Claude Zehnder at the Schola Cantorum, in Basle, Switzerland. In the fields of instrument restoration and construction, he has worked as part of Gerhard Grenzing's team restoring numerous organs in Andalusia, Mallorca and France. He has carried out various investigative projects on music for keyboard and organs in Spain and has bee awarded prizes for Musical Research endeavours by the Andalusian Autonomous Government for his work involving the cataloguing of organs in the provinces of Huelva and Cádiz.
