Chucho Martínez Gil stood out with great success and recognition in two main branches: as a composer and as a singer. He was born on December 19, 1917 in Puebla, Mexico. He died on May 22, 1988. Son of Felipe Bojalil and Carmen Gil de Bojalil. He resided in Misantla, Ver. And in Jalapa, Ver., During his childhood. Later he lived in Central and South America, and in Cuba and Puerto Rico.
