US-American mastering and lacquer cutting engineer. Co-owner of Location Recording Service. His etched initials in lacquers usually are made with simple block lettering (see images). Etchings which appear to have the S and G combined into one character are often actually "JG", and indicate Joe Gastwirt (usually with a heart) or Jack Hunt with partner Gary (without a heart).
