Input Illudere was a short-term collaboration that likely would have produced greater output if not for the geographic parting of ways in a pre-web era. Their sole project was written & sequenced entirely on a Yamaha DX-7 during the summer of 1993. The recording to DAT was then duplicated to a run of 500 cassettes independently distributed throughout the Southwest U.S. Shea Taylor was lead singer, keyboardist and guitarist for The Expense at the time he joined forces with Ambient experimentalist and prepared-pianist Doghead Cola. Their shared love for the emergence of electronic music & production resulted in this collaborative one-off, knowing that Cola (soon to be better-known under his DJ/producer moniker, E23) would be relocating to Colorado away from their shared locale in Texas. The Doghead Cola persona was splintered off from DJ Ice-Nine (very soon after to be so-named E23) as a writing persona, rather than a musical one. This is the lone audio credit for the author otherwise known primarily for his contributions to "Iron Feather Journal" - including the coveted Iron Feather Journal #17, with a 10", Limited Vinyl Edition produced in collaboration with the trio Multicast (Obliq Recordings – OBQ-02-EP, released in 1999.
