Easter was an Illinois-based bedroom recording project by songwriter Kyle Lang. Backed by a rotating cast of DIY punk musicians, Easter became well-known for its energetic and celebratory live shows, as well as the community of artists that formed around the band. The band’s 2011 Demonstration EP was critically regarded as one of the best Midwestern indie rock releases of the 2010s.
