Granati Brothers
Настоящее имя: Granati Brothers
Об исполнителе:
One of the 80's most often overlooked combos, the Granati Brothers offered a hard rock sound that never quite caught on despite the obvious quality of much of their work. Starting in 1975, Hermie Granati was the first of his brothers to realize he wanted to make music. After recording with several smaller combos, he convinced brothers Rick, Joe, and David to team with their cousin Tony Lee and begin writing material together. The group came together quickly and after two or so years of playing together, the band was discovered in a Pennsylvania club by the band Gentle Giant. The group released their eponymous debut in 1979, a small effort that still gained them some mainstream attention due to their signing to A&M Records. Later that year, a tour with Heart, Van Halen and many others crossed the country and drew incredible numbers. Temporarily changing their name to G-Force (37), they stayed on the road with Van Halen through 1981 and began to catch attention from Guitar Player magazine. After being dropped by A&M Records, the group was picked up by Atlantic Records and recorded their second album "Enter: G-Force" in 1986, which went unreleased by Atlantic.
