Edmond Massé

French jazz guitarist and banjoist. Older son of Aaron Massé and Alice Rosenthal. He was incarcerated by the Nazis in Drancy on Sept. 14, 1943 and deported to Auschwitz on July 31, 1944, where he was gassed a few days later. b.: Jan. 24, 1900 in Paris, France d.: Aug. 5, 1944 in Auschwitz
