Croatian pop band, founded in 1993 as "High Jinx" in Zagreb by by the singer Yaya, guitarist Coco Mosquito, keyboard player Mr. Goody, Goony and Kiky the Kid. After shortening the name to "Jinx", they released their debut album "Sextaszy" in 1995. The first major change in their lineup occurred in 1996, when Goony and Kiky were replaced by Berko Muratović on drums and Samir Kadribašić on bass. Their second album "Second Hand" was released in 1997, carrying hits like "Smijem Se", and they were joined by Jakša Kriletić-Jordes on saxophone and Rudy B on trumpet. In 1998 the band received Radio France International's award for Best New European Artist. The following year Rudi was replaced by Igor Pavlica, and the band released their third album - Pompei-ljetna ploča katastrofe, going on a lengthy tour afterwards. 2001 brought a new band member - the percussionist Boris Popov, and a new album - "Avantura Počinje". In 2002, however, the band went on a hiatus. In 2006, the band reformed (minus Kriletić and Popov) in "secrecy" and started working on a new album. Kadribašić left the band a few months later because of other commitments and was replaced by Adam Matijašević. The band released their fifth album "Na Zapadu" in 2007 and the sixth, "Diksilend" in 2010.
