Dave Hubert

American record producer and record company executive. In 1954 he formed the International Pacific Recording Corporation, at first selling the Omegatape & Alphatape reel-to-reel releases, soon followed by the Omega Disk records. In 1961 David Hubert began the new label Horizon Records (8), which later was absorbed by Vee Jay Records. Founded publishing company Davon Music which he sold to A&M Records, Inc. when he joined them as head of their publishing department in 1965. In 1966 A&M promoted him to International Director, where he played a major role in founding the UK branch A&M Records Ltd. in 1969 and A&M Records Of Canada Limited in 1970.
