Lyn Duddy

American female songwriter. Born: July 12, 1921 in New York City, New York, USA. Died: February 23, 1998 in Queens, New York, USA. She was married to songwriter Lee Pockriss. Also known as Lynn Duddy. Best known for the song "Johnny Angel", that she wrote with her husband. The song hit #1 in 1962 the U.S. in by Shelley Fabares and #37 in the U.K. by Patti Lynn. In 1956 Doris Day sang her song "Let It Ring" (co-written by Joan Edwards) and it rose to #51 in the U.S.
