Aboukir

Aboukir is a rock band from Paris, led by multi-instrumentalist & songwriter Ralph Maruani. Born and raised in a family of musicians, Ralph started his musical training at 3 years old on the piano before shifting to guitar and bass. As a teenager, influenced by the French Touch and iconic labels from the Hamburg scene such as DIAL or Smallville, he developed a growing interest for electronic music and co-founded D.KO Records in 2013. Under his Flabaire moniker or as a bassist of the band Secret Value Orchestra, he releases 9 EPs and 4 albums, switching easily from House to Ambient or Jungle.
 After a decade spent sharpening his producing skills, Ralph goes back to his first love in 2018 and launches the Aboukir project, a rock band developing a singular psychedelic and atmospheric sound on his debut album Digital Introversion.
