Reggie Lavong was DJ on the New York radio station WWRL. He was also at one time Vice President of R & B marketing for Capitol Records. In the 1970's he became known as a vociferous advocate of black people's rights, and he recorded Skin Deep as a powerful message on behalf of black people in the US.
