New Zealand drummer and percussionist. Profile from A Labour Of Love: Don carries a Musicians Union Membership card with a SINGLE DIGIT number. For the vineyard of jazz, it has been acknowledged, Don is recognized as one of its most industrious workers. He works the London Bar with the Jack Randall Trio, has occupied the drum seat with the Society Jazzmen for no less than 8 years and has played every club-date in Auckland. He has toured with and backed greats, such as Sarah Vaughan, Dizzy Gillespie, Bud Freeman and Carmen McRae, to name a few.
