1974 Since 1974 Juergen Novotny is occupied with electronic music, first electronic organ, later - influenced by musicians like J.M. Jarre or Vangelis - synthesizers. 1996-97 After a bunch of unsuccessful applications at various music labels german 'Keyboards' author Albrecht Piltz becomes aware of a demo CD; in the year 1997 'Fly!', Juergen Novotny's first album, is featured in the magazine and receives positive critics. Sylvia Sommerfeld from the german 'schallWende' community establishes a contact, and in the years 1997 and 2000 she features the music of Juergen Novotny in her radio program 'Traumklangradio' with interviews and selected pieces. 1998 In the year 1998 Juergen Novotny wins the first place in a german contest for Electronic music with his song 'Mdina Places'. 1999 First place at the yearly 'schallWende' contest as 'Electronic musician newcomer of the year 1998'; concert in Essen. Also first record deal with the Berlin label MI Records (Bernd Kistenmacher music production). The CD Album 'Schwingungen 99/04' features Juergen Novotny with two of his songs. 2000 During the following years concentration on the internet: in 1999 and 2000 high ranks at MP3.com and Besonic.com, TOP 5 in the USA charts in the genres mood music and film music, first rank world wide in 'electronic classical'. Additional features at MP3.com and YAHOO Germany. 2001 In 2001 Juergen Novotny's song 'Awakening' is featured on the album 'Beyond the skies vol IV' for SHIFT music. Film music score for the Braunschweig situated project 'Kloster Walkenried', supported by the University and the funding Braunschweig. Since 2001 Juergen Novotny is under contract of the german Filmkunst Musikverlag, one of the biggest producers and publishers of film music in Germany, also with his platform Intervox (www.intervox.de) 2002-2003 These years see the further development of his own agency vivia®interaktiv and the film music studio. Until 2002 Juergen Novotny worked as graduated engineer at the german aerospace center; there he participated in the training for two space missions. Since 2003 Juergen Novotny leads his own company vivia interaktiv which deals with the sophisticated realisation of company presentations as well as their corporate design...
