Tomas Blank

Swedish composer, arranger, conductor and musician (flute, clarinet and acoustic guitar), born October 6, 1956 in Enskede parish. He studied at the Stockholm Institute of Music Education in Stockholm and then in Salzburg, Austria. After studying, he started his music career at CBS Records and then continued at Polar Music and Sweden Music. During the late 1980s and into the mid-1990s, Blank worked for EMI Records. Has also done productions for BMG / SONY Records and for companies in Germany and Austria. Blank is often hired as an arranger of folk music for symphony orchestras and chamber music ensembles. Among other things, we can mention about 60 arrangements of classic Swedish songs that were recorded together with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. He has arranged and written his own music for over 150 different record productions and has about 900 titles registered with STIM.
