Nexus (4)

Nexus was formed in 1998 after the split of the top Greek Gothic Rock band, the Flowers Of Romance. Nearly two years later the decision was made to leave behind their then-label and Mike Pougounas created Cyberdelia Records on March 9, 2000. Two short months later he released the Nexus debut album, "6" (Greek lyrics) on May 19. Nexus supported Mission between their first two album releases, "6" and "Cybernaut" (February 2001). The band played a fusion of Electro, Industrial, and Gothic followed by powerful and sharp vocals. Nexus released a total of four studio albums, one EP, and were featured in numerous foreign and domestic compilations. In May of 2005, Mike Pougounas, Sidheog Steves (Dimitris Stevis), and Costas Spanos decided the time had come to begin the creative process once again and put Nexus in hiatus. Nearly a year later the three of them formed the Gothic/Post Punk band called New Zero God. On April 11, 2011, a full five years after disbanding Nexus, Terrorizer Magazine's Goth supplemental Dominion Magazine [UK] named Nexus "Drop The Luv Bomb" as Video of the Week.
