Helen Turner is a BluesRock vocalist that draws comparisons to Janis Joplin and Maggie Bell to mention but two. She is from Glasgow, Scotland and is "the real deal" according to Classic Rock UK magazine, "brilliant" and "in a different class" according to Classic Rock: The Blues, and simply "wonderful" according to Blues Matters. Beautiful vocals on record and even better live. She has worked with Iain Black for many years having played separately in bands in Scotland then London to join forces in Statesboro Union and Red Road latterly (1994-2000) producing two albums and touring the UK. After that they worked in the Band 3AM followed by the Bare Bones Boogie Band and for the past years Born Healer.
