Inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame (2001) and the America's Old Time Country Music Hall of Fame (2005). Member of the Town Hall Party. Best known for his hit song Easy Loving which won the Country Music Association Song of the Year award two years in a row, in 1971 and 1972.
