Otto Lunardi

Otto Lunardi was born on July 17th, 1920 in Bonaldo - Verona, Italy. In 1923 he came to Vorarlberg. In 1935 he began his apprenticeship as a tailor in his father's business, which he completed in 1938 with the journeyman's examination. In 1942 he enlisted in the Wehrmacht in Verona. In July 1946 he returned home from English captivity to his beloved Dornbirn. He resigned at the fools evenings of the Dornbirn carnival guild 1975 to 1990 as a handicraft speaker. One of his showpieces was "To Trentinar Gastarbeiter", in which he humorous that described the arduous life of the Trentino immigrants. He died in 1994.
