Steven Wilson (16)

Bassoonist. Originally from Dodge City, Kansas, he now lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife, NSO English hornist Kathryn Meany & their children. He joined the National Symphony in 2001 after three seasons as principal bassoonist in the Virginia Symphony. Previously, he served as second bassoonist in the Tulsa Philharmonic and the Abilene Philharmonic. He has participated in the Round Top, Chautauqua, and Colorado Music Festivals.
