Patty Jacob

American composer, lyricist and singer. Born: June 12, 1928 Died: September 11, 2008 in New York She was the lyricist for the Broadway musical, ''Jimmy'', composed by her late husband Bill Jacob. During the, ''Big Band'' era, she sang and recorded with Charlie Spivak, Buddy DeFranco, and Tommy Dorsey. In later years she was a counselor to victims of addiction to alcohol and other drugs.
