Daniel Wagner aliasse Body (*10.10.1973) grew up in the palatine area around Wörth am Rhein in a small village called Rheinzabern and, due to his parents and older brother, was involved to 70ies Rock like The Doors e.g. as well as disco pop like Donna Summer e.g., not forgetting classic stuff like The Beatles e.g. At the age of 14 he discovered the world of extreme Metal music. With absolutely no talent for any music instrument but jamming in first steps with his school friends, he was forced to be the singer (also with no talent at all) and so their first band The Trash was born. Absolute beginners in any way, they just practiced a few days to play their first concert in december 1989 at their school, playing songs of their faves Sodom, S.O.D., and 2 own songs. After that everyone moved in another direction, but got together again in August 1990 influenced by the upcoming death metal scene. Their first real band Fertilizer was founded and this was the beginning of the first death metal band ever on the palatine side as well as around the city of Karlsruhe. While playing more and more Shows, next to more and more popularity and success, Daniel parted step by step from the band and fell in love with illegal substances and exploring new musical horizons til the definitive split up from Fertilizer in december 1992. Inspired by his love for 70ies music and fascination for bass players like Klaus-Peter Matziol, Martin Turner and Helmut Hattler, he decided to start playing bass. In 1995 he got first touch with metal music again, and meanwhile many things changed there. The evolution of metal was massive. Suddenly bands used orchestral arrangements, Opera singers, even keyboards, all of which was a No-Go in the early 90ies. And in the end of 1996 he joined the palatine death/thrash metal band Aposiopese on bass and backing vocals. In 1999 Aposiopese split up, and he directly joined the swamp rock band Buffer also on bass and backing vocals. Playing several shows throughout Germany, it was his semi-professional time as bass Player, but in negative ways for family and private reasons. So he decided to leave Buffer in summer 2004. After 5 years in privacy and much work he joined the death/doom metal band Distressed to Marrow in 2009 returning as death metal singer again. In 2012 and 2013 he did some guest vocals for the iraq Black metal band Seeds of Iblis. In 2014 he left Distressed To Marrow and is again inactive since then.
