Alexandra Lomeiko

New Zealander freelance solo/chamber/orchestral classical violinist based in London, England, UK. Born 2 August 1991 in Christchurch, New Zealand. In 2006, she moved to London where she was awarded a full scholarship to study at The Purcell School. In 2010, she was awarded a scholarship to study at The Guildhall School Of Music & Drama. Following her graduation in 2014, she commenced her postgraduate studies at The Royal College of Music graduating in July 2017 with a Masters in Music Performance and the Artist Diploma Qualification. In 2013, she founded the unconducted orchestra Silk Street Sinfonia of which she is concertmaster and Artistic Director. An active chamber musician, she has performed with Ensemble Mirage amongst others.
