The Georg Hekt Quintet

Georg Hekt is a multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar, bass, piano, flute and more), DJ and producer currently living in Berlin. He was born in Bulgaria where he started exploring music already as a kid. He started his first school band with 13 and played with them and joined some other projects until he finished school and moved to Germany. Towards the end of the school he met Oppidan and together they founded the first electronic music project in the city of Stara Zagora. In Germany Georg started immediately a new project with a couple of new friends which at some point expanded to become a new netlabel - Stigae Music. Since he resides in Berlin, he's been frequently recording with artists from the Tacheles Art House, playing live at different venues (like the infamous ex-club 103) with live musicians and electronic music artists.
