Alexander Korotkov lives in Gryazovets, a small ancient town in Vologda Oblast, taiga region in the North of Russia. He plays experimental music since 1997 using only lo-fi, 100% analog technologies. His project Po.No.(i)Za. performs collage noise utilizing the only soundsource - samples from TV broadcast, which are processed through three cassette decks and an analog equalizer. The albums are mastered to cassette tapes without any digital processing. Alexander has recorded over 300 full-length albums (most of them are 90 minutes long) during these years, and still continues his work. Only a small part of his works has been already released on tapes and CD-Rs. Alexander is also active in psychedelic photography, both analog and digital.
