Los Angeles, California HOUSE IN BACK has their roots in the Midwest with influences of Rock and Country by groups such as The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, Heartsfield and other Country Rock bands. Recorded and written in various areas of the country, .... Illinois, Florida, and California, the songs offer a a variety of musical sounds similar to current artists such as Mumford & Sons, Eric Church, and Sugarland. Fronted by Danny Janotta and Larry Kot, these 2 musicians have collaborated for the last 10 years in writing, creating, and producing clever songs based on real life situations. Their debut EP, from 2018, included a diverse collection of songs featuring "The Auction Song", "Don't Have An Answer", "A Fool Like Me" and "It Won't Feel Like Christmas". Over the years, Janotta and Kot have worked with long time friend Ray Snyder (drums and percussion) and recently have worked with talented guest artists such as Jerry Janotta (vocals), Jesse Olema (bass, fiddle, mandolin, drums and vocals), Karlina Covington (vocals), Joel Martin (pedal steel guitar), Brian Masters (auctioneer vocals), Gabe Martin(trumpet) and Paul Fuller (banjo) .
