Robert Greenfield

Guitarist and band leader Robert Greenfield (aka: Roberto Campoverde) served up a uniquely British flavour of Afro Cuban rhythms and jazz-funk with his legendary London based band Cayenne, who comprised members of Gonzalez, Incognito, Manfred Mann's Earth Band and The Eurythmics. Closely linked to the Morrissey-Mullen Band, who they played numerous gigs with as support. Owned and operated a musical instrument shop (The Music Ship) in Fleet Road, South End Green, Hampstead, London NW3 (1978-83) and a record shop (The Record Shop) near the same location, opposite the train station at Hampstead Heath, South End Green, Hampstead, London NW3 (1978-83).
