Teflon Fonfara

Artist and musician, born in South Germany. At the time of the New German Wave he published 2 LP's, "Inge In Venedig" and "Mein Leben Ist Ein Werbespot". "Fonfara" is his genuine surname. With it's publishing he used "Teflon" as first name which starts legally problems in 2003 with the Swiss chemical concern DuPont. Since 1990 his artist name "Teflon Fonfara" is his official accepted artist name, registered on his identification card. Later he lived in Manhattan and had appearances in clubs there as well in the US television broadcasts "Coca Crystels TV Show" and "New York Nites". From 1986 to 1998 he produced the cult show "Frau Kächele & Frau Peters" for the South German broadcast SDR as author and speaker of all voices. In 1994 he published the Techno title "Schwarze Wolken (Luis Trenker Dance With Me)" which reached pos. 27 in the DJ-Top-40 charts. The former Rock'n'Roll guitarist also plays the legendary self-conceived 10-String Electric Sitar. He always dealt with free music and the shamanic and healing relationships of sounds and rhythms.
