French singer and actress, born March 3, 1924, Paris, died April 27, 2014. Married with Jacques Bodoin and mother of Véronique Bodoin, actress and TV presenter. She debuted in the theater troupe "Les Branquignols" created by Robert Dhéry and Colette Brosset in 1946. Major figure in the french speaking world of dubbing, she was especially known as the voice of Miss Piggy in the french version of The Muppet Show and for the voice of Cleopatra in the cartoon "Asterix and Cleopatra"; she was also known as a unique talent in whistling. Very popular on frenchTV during the 1970's and 1980's, she's been a regular guest on games TV shows.
