Artur Gold

Polish violinist, pianist, composer, arranger and conductor. He studied violin and composition in the UK. On his return to Warsaw, he created with Jerzy Petersburski dance orchestra, which enjoyed the second half of the 20's very popular. He was one of the leading Polish composers of popular music, especially tango wrote songs and theater programs typical revue and cabaret. Born March 17, 1897 in Warsaw, died in a concentration camp in Treblinka in 1943.
