Charles Newman (5)

American harmonica player born in 1915. Newman grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and by 1934 he was doing radio work out of San Francisco. He began recording for Decca label in 1938and during his career he worked with Horace Heidt, Paul Whiteman, Fred Waring and others. He was active well into his 70's.
