Born in Malawi on 17 May 1962, Rise Kagona is the founder, guitarist and sole remaining member of Zimbabwean rock band Bhundu Boys. With the band having broken apart, Mr. Kagona now lives in Scotland, doing the odd bit of gigging (still under the Bhundu Boys banner) and supplementing his income by doing ironing at the local charity shop.
