Bio from old website: TANG is the combined force and energy of Bonnie Parker and Denny Colt and was conceived three years ago. Bonnie and Denny have worked together in the past, first as part of an all female band on a T.V. show in Madrid, Spain and then as part of a touring band in Canada and the U.S. In these bands, Bonnie and Denny opened shows for such artists as Bon Jovi, Brian May, INXS and others. They are both published songwriters, Bonnie with releases in England and Spain and Denny with songs in the movie and soundtrack, "Speedzone" from Orion Pictures and "Nuke Em High 3" from Troma Pictures. In 1997, TANG was born!!! The band started out with a female drummer, Gail Walden, ex of The Poison Dollies....but she split after about a year. Or perhaps she was abducted by Martians! Nevermind... TANG forged ahead and scored with new skin meister, Steve"Budgie"Werner, ex of The Ace Frehley Band, a heavy hitter in more ways than one!!!The rest is history!! TANG is an aggressive band with a strong foundation. Their live show has won them rave reviews and proves that this band is no hype when it comes to their performance and musicianship!!! Their combined talents in songwriting bring a wide variety of influences into the music from hard-core, metal, punk, rap, emo and more. Denny and Bonnie also share the vocal spot, trading phrases back and forth in their own kick-ass style. TANG has recently returned from their first tour of Sweden which was a total success! They will be returning to Europe in the spring of 2001 to promote the release of “MENTAL POLLUTION” on Raw Power UK Records.
