Bastien C. Anthony

Drummer from Geneva, Switzerland. Bastien C. Anthony is a working international drummer based in Geneva, Switzerland. Actually part of Geneva's Music Arts Academy team as a drum educator, Bastien achieved a master degree in music performance with distinction, delivered by the University of East London in October 2016. Prior to this qualification, he completed a Sound Engineer diploma at the SAE institute in 2015, after graduating with honours from the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance of London where he received an Edexel BTEC level 5 Higher Diploma in Music performance and won both Best Drummer and Best Over All awards in 2013. His excellent performance and recording skills have led him to work with various international bands and in several studios in the UK and Switzerland, as well as being highly appreciated for his qualities on live stages, touring across Europe and America on a regular basis. An incomplete list of bands that Bastien has worked with would gather CardiaC (CH), Staring Out The Sun (UK), Biba Bifana (CMR), Brooke Borg (MLT), Vuyvr (CH) and Lost Sphere Project whilst working in studios such as Ignition Prod (CH), Brain Dead Studios (UK), Rec studio (CH) and Downtone studio (CH). Bastien joined metal international band CardiaC in 2013, with whom he released an unplugged album Olas y Rocas in 2015, followed by a US tour in February 2016. On the same year, CardiaC released their 4th electric album Sangrar Hasta Lograrlo through Tenacity Music and went highly exposed on festivals such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, The Gena Festival and also opening for bands such as Limp Bizkit, Sepultura and Soilwork. Since the beginning of 2017, CardiaC toured the west coast of the US, Russia and Spain whilst keeping a busy live schedule across europe and composing new material with the will to tour central American in 2018.
