Joe Quesada

American drummer, recording engineer, producer and teacher based in Rockland County, New York. • Owns and operates an overdubbing, editing, mixing and mastering studio in Nyack, New York. • Has been an instructor at Rockland Community College for over 20 years. Prior to that he was Director of the Skunk Hollow School, an alternative high school in Pomona, New York. • Has worked with Dan Hicks, Bob Dorough, David Johansen, Julie Gold, Laurence Hobgood, Kurt Elling, David Maxwell, Chuck Loeb, Rick Wakeman, The Mighty Sparrow, Bill O'Connell, Tex Arnold, Laurel Massé, Roberta Donnay, Lew Soloff and others. • Has worked in genres ranging from Jazz to Blues, Rock to Country, Pop to Hip-Hop, Folk to Electronica. He has done recordings in ethnic styles including Salsa, Irish music, Haitian Vodou drumming, Flamenco guitar and Tibetan Buddhist chanting.
