The Hitmakers (13)

Founded in 2002 in Ottawa, Canada, The Hitmakers delivered a brand of rock n' roll based on the razor thin sound of Arch Hall Jr. and his notorious gang of non-musical thugs that terrorized 1960's Hollywood and adjacent areas. They played some poorly lit and incident filled shows in the Ottawa scene from 2002-2007 and then reformed in 2017 with a series of EP's released to Bandcamp, such as Creeping Ritual, Niagara Falls Of Blood, Poodle Day In Cheswick and What's Wrong With Me, among others. The best of the EP's were compiled into 2020's The Greatest Hits Of The Hitmakers LP. In 2022, they released the Sex Comedy LP. Current members are Jeremy Milks (guitar, vocals), Stuart Trew (bass), JP Guevremont (piano) and Simon Doyle (drums). Henry Moses acts as band advisor/tastemaker when not in custody or out of country. His whereabouts are currently unknown.
