Fayyaz Hashmi

Fayyaz Hashmi was an Urdu/Pakistani poet and dialogue writer who worked both in the Indian and the Pakistani film industry. He penned some memorable songs & ghazals. Indian singer [a1715357] gained fame from a ghazal called Tasveer Teri Dil Mera Behela Nah Sake Gi, back in 1941 and this ghazal was instrumental in introducing him to the Calcutta film industry.
