Tom Kiersted

Bassist in the Houston, Texas punk band The Degenerates. Kiersted was also a writer, serving as assistant editor of the Houston Press from 1990 to 1993 and a freelance writer, journalist and marketer in Austin, Texas from the late 1990s onward. He also played at Degenerates reunion shows in the 1990s and 2000s and made DIY electronic music under the name Hung Like Mice. Kiersted died in December 2020.
