Colombian rock band formed in 1989 when 4 experienced musicians got together with the sole objective of doing what they like to do the most: Playing rock. In that same year Escape released his first single that included the songs "No es Solo Sexo" and "Escape". From that moment on, Escape began a career that took him to the main cities of Colombia, alternating with figures such as Soda estereo, Millie Vanillie, Kraken, and more. His performance at the Beer Festival in Bogotá allowed him to share the scene with figures like Willie Colón, and others. More than 100 successful presentations in cities such as Medellín (Ancón II), Villavicencio, Armenia, Pereira (Concert concert tour), Neiva, etc., allow us to give some idea of ​​the work done by this Bogotana band. The song "It's not just sex" topped the charts in 2 different years and on another occasion was among the 15 most important. The delicate public order situation in the early 90s did not allow the band to gain a foothold (We all remember the time of the bombs!). In 93, Salvattore Cassandro left the country, which is why he was replaced by Ruben Morales. At that time Escape continued its concert route alternating with Ekimosis at the Coliseo el Salitre in Bogotá.
