Bert Crews

American punk musician. Crews moved to Austin, Texas in 1977 as part of an anthropology grad program that divided his time between the University of Texas and Cornell University in New York. He formed the short-lived band The Raybees and played some shows on keyboards with The Next before he started the bands Reversible Cords (Re*Cords) and The Norvells. He also joined a later lineup of The Huns. He moved to San Francisco at the end of the 1970s.
