Yellow Symphony
Настоящее имя: Yellow Symphony
Об исполнителе:
Yellow Symphony was the earliest electronic music project of Bjørn Christiansen (b. 2 August 1975, Ringsted), a renowned Danish composer, sound designer and producer. In childhood, Bjørn taught himself to play an electric organ at home. After hearing techno and hip-hop on the radio in the 7th grade, he got the first synthesizer, sampler and sequencer and soon began making home recordings with naive melodic ambient. According to Bjørn Svin's Wikipedia page, Yellow Symphony was an "ambient trio." However, no other online sources support this claim, and there's no information about the possible two members. In 2007, Jonas Olesen's label BIN released an archival two-track EP by Yellow Symphony, available as a free download via BIN DATA netlabel. It featured two live recordings by Bjørn Christiansen from 1993, using a newspaper cutout as an artwork, with the caption in Danish: "14 timers uafbrudt ambientmusik med lyd, lys, røg og lugte i Club Nuts regi var lørdag også en optakt til multimusikinvasionen, der officielt blev søsat af kulturudvalgsformand Hans Jørgen Lund Jensen og musiker-forfatteren Peter Bastian i går." — English translation: "14 hours of uninterrupted ambient music with sound, light, smoke and smells under Club Nut's auspices on Saturday was also a prelude to the multi-music invasion, officially launched by culture committee chairman Hans Jørgen Lund Jensen and musician Peter Bastian yesterday."
