José Luis Moro Escalona (Madrid, 22 December 1926 - Madrid, 13 January 2015) was a Spanish cartoonist, publicist and audiovisual producer. In the mid-1950s, together with his brother Santiago Moro, he founded Estudios Moro in his hometown, Madrid, and they would soon become pioneers in advertising animation for television and film. Their most popular creation was a cartoon broadcast daily by Televisión Española in the mid-1960s, which announced the end of the children's programming schedule with the famous tune "Vamos a la cama!": La Familia Telerín. Estudios Moro produced animation films or animated sequences ("Un rayo de sol" (1960), "Ha llegado un ángel" (1961), "El Mago de los Sueños" (1966), "Dame un poco de amooor...!" (1968), "Katy, la oruga" (1984)...), many advertising spots (Quina Santa Catalina, Gallina Blanca, Cola-Cao...), series ("Cantinflas Show" (1972), "Marcelino, Pan y Vino" (2001)...), and television shows ("Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez" (1972-2004)).
