Andy Touchfingers

Andy ‘Touch Fingers’ took to the piano at the age of 5 touring France, Germany and Belgium in the classical sphere before spending three years studying music and composition in York. He then turned his attention to developing jazz piano and Rhodes skills. His involvement in dance music began at the age of 14 on the turntables leading to his first role as a co-producer with T-Mirage on the Drum & Bass Label Odysee which played host to the likes of Photek and Source Direct. He played along side Ramsey, Scott Garcia, Ride and Paul Garner back in the Garage days before moving towards the deeper side of House music. Andy tries to bring all these experiences to the outfit as well as taking his inspiration from as wide a field as possible; from rare 70’s funk and film scores, latin, jazz, drum & bass through to neo soul. Also devoted to encouraging the next generation of music makers, he teaches keys to young people and runs DJ workshops in some of his local schools!
