Об исполнителе:
Officially started by Adam Lane in 2004, Obscure Descension is a solo Elektro/EBM project. Since 1996, Obscure Descension is Adam’s third music project. OD’s music is fueled by anger, depression, and a bit of madness, creating a unique and diverse sound packing cold harsh vocals, crunchy pounding beats, and dark suspenseful synth lines, to slower, dark and fluid instrumental melodies. Adam has been influenced by a broad spectrum of bands such as Combichrist, Diverje, Wumpscut, Tamtrum, Monolith, Depeche Mode, Pink Floyd, Apoptygma Berzerk, and the Doors, (to name a few). Obscure Descension has released single tracks, collaborations, and remix projects for compilations and streaming internet radio. Winter 2006, Obscure Descension began collaborating with TommyT (Diverje). This spawned several remixes including “Smell The Blood”, “Stitched”, as well as multiple collaboration tracks. These remixes have been featured on Diverje’s “Unleashed” remix CD, and DSBP Records’ industrial compilation “Futronik Structures vol. 5”. Obscure Descension was also featured on Cyberage Radio, and DigitalGunfire.com. Summer 2007, Obscure Descension begins collaboration with German band Bleiburg, producing Hollow Ground. This collaboration was released on Bleiburg’s “The Grey Years” 2CD. Obscure Descension’s “Paper God” was also released on FREE TIEBET FREE, a Tibet benefit CD. Winter 2008, Adam Lane joins Diverje after working with TommyT (Diverje) for almost two years doing collaborations and remixes. Adam continues work on the first full-length Obscure Descension self-titled release planned for Fall 2009. Adam begins producing for Neo-Soul artist Prescott, which spawned the trip-hop project "Starlight Lost". Summer 2009, Obscure Descension releases it's debut self-titled album August 13th, 2009. Adam continues work with Diverje, Starlight Lost, and various collaboration/remix projects, including an indie documentary soundtrack.
