Об исполнителе:
House / Psytrance / Triphop / Grindcore DJ producer based in Ohio, United States Over the years, 'Intro' has dj'd for local clubs and bars in the Cleveland area such as the HiFi, 5 O'Clock Lounge, and Spitfire. He's also entertained for many ethnic group parties on Kelly's Island where he received his artist nickname, as well as house parties for friends in his hometown. While living on the island during the spring and summers of '04 & '05, he was known to many island natives and travelers as 'Intro', most of whom would never learn his real name. His emotions from life experiences were often expelled musically on djembes and bongos jammin alongside friends with guitars on beaches, piers, boats and in quarries all around the island. At times of solitude he would roam the shores listening to music, writing poems, lyrics, drawing and painting pictures. Soon after the island days, he bought his first keyboard and taught himself to play by ear. From developing his own style and sound to learning to play songs by artists such as Ray Charles, Coldplay, Jewel and Alicia Keys, his new-found love for the keyboard became another favorite way of musical expression. In the early summer of 2000, a high school friend Rich Valler, familiarized him to the electronic music software program Fruity Loops. In a short time, the two created a couple self-inspiring trance style tracks. One year after graduation, Rich unexpectedly passed away in '04 while 'Intro' was away on the island. Their friendship and collaborative music was lost forever. Songs by his favorite artists that cheered and mentored him through good and bad times, would also many years later re-spark his passion for writing again, all the while keeping up with top 40, rock, rap and underground scenes. In 2010, another good friend Brian Mancini (Leweeej!), turned him towards the Reason program where he resumed writing and currently continues to expand his portfolio of innovative tracks. 'Intro's House/Psytrance/Triphop/Grindcore sound is unique, recognizable, and in a way a genre of it's own. His favorite musicians and vocalists are mainly from the rock genre, including bands like Incubus, Bush and RHCP, but in the past had become greatly influenced by electronic music artists such as: Tiësto, The Crystal Method, Dj HeavyGrinder, Daft Punk, Prodigy, Diesel Boy, Louie Devito, Darude and Fat Boy Slim, to name a few. After taking a break for several months in 2011, he's back to writing again and driven like never before. Currently using Reason 5 and light hardware to produce his bold-evolving sound, he'll be releasing original mixes with one goal in mind, and soon be returning to the dj scene with a massive collection of solo written and collaborative tracks.
