Trattbandet

Swedish jazz band, from the industrial centre of Sweden, Västerås. Originally concentrating on New Orleans Jazz, the band has gradually widened its selection of music to comprise even Dixieland, early swing, West Indian and rhythm & blues music. Trattbandet - "The Funnel Band" - or, as it is also called: The Aros Jazz and Blues Band, has reached a position close to indispensability when it comes to embellish all kinds of happy events, like festivals, jubilees, grand openings and parties. Trattbandet has participated some dozen of festivals like the ones in Askersund, Kungshamn, Stockholm and, of course, Västerås in Sweden, Pori in Finland and Eindhoven and Breda in Holland, the latter for the fourth time. They have also toured in Germany.
